Nutritional Therapy

Nutritional Therapy.   Sarah trained at the renowned Centre for Nutrition Education (CNE – Middlesex University) where she graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in Nutritional Therapy.  Sarah is also a fully qualified NLP practitioner and coach.  She can use this in conjunction with Nutritional Therapy to help her clients achieve their goals.

What is Nutritional Therapy? It is the application of nutrition science in the promotion of health & peak performance.  Nutritional Therapy can identify potential nutritional imbalances and how these contribute to your symptoms.  Many people try diets & supplements recommended in books & magazines but feel no better. What may suit one individual may not suit the next. This is because as individuals, we all have different health backgrounds, genes & lifestyles, which play a unique role in health and well-being. Nutritional Therapy is, however, tailored to the individual, recognising that everyone is bio-chemically unique in nutritional needs.  It focuses on the underlying causes, to understand how normal function may have been disrupted.  At times, this may mean incorporating clinical tests to help this process.  You maybe wondering who can benefit from Nutritional Therapy?  The answer is simple: everyone.

What can Sarah offer you?Sarah’s approach is not about restricting large numbers of foods or recommending ‘fad’ diets.  Instead she focuses on providing practical, realistic, achievable advice, taking into account your genetics whole lifestyle & your current health goals.  This can help you make long-term dietary and lifestyle changes in order to help balance and maintain your health.  Sarah does not simply focus on your symptoms but also on discovering the cause of your symptoms.   Sarah's over-all approach is to define a personalised nutritional programme for you, rather than a 'one size fits all' approach.  Sarah works with both adults and children.

If you are not sure what role Nutritional Therapy can play for you, Sarah offers a free 15 minute no obligation chat about your situation - 07702 492302 or call into the Maris Practice and pick up a leaflet.

Sarah is a member of the regulatory body BANT and is also registered with the CHNC.
